Be Professional
- Use your real professional identity
- Communicate respectfully and honestly
- Honor your commitments when you accept a request
- Respond in a timely manner, even if to decline
Be Relevant
- Only request referrals for roles you are genuinely qualified for
- Personalize each request — no mass outreach
- Respect referrer eligibility criteria and capacity limits
- Provide a clear, concise fit statement
Be Respectful
- Accept declines gracefully — referrers are volunteering their time
- Do not pressure, guilt-trip, or repeatedly contact after a decline
- Do not share other members' information without consent
- Report harassment, fraud, or impersonation
Prohibited Behavior
The following will result in account restriction or removal:
- Spam or unsolicited bulk requests
- Impersonation or false employment claims
- Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior
- Attempting to harvest resumes or contact information
- Circumventing capacity limits or eligibility controls
- Sharing content that violates applicable laws
Enforcement
Violations are reviewed by our moderation team. Actions include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, and permanent bans. Serious violations result in immediate suspension. All decisions can be appealed.
